Huy Minh Truong is an artist and architectural designer based in Brooklyn, NY. His work is a contemplation of the wavering nature of the seemingly elemental forms with which we arrange daily existence—names, colors, grounds, shapes, stones, windows, and skies. He uses painting, writing, and sculpture to notice constellations of meaning coalesce and dissipate among these commonplace phenomena. In the space between subconscious turbulence and wide-eyed intentionality, his practice seeks a freedom from internalized forms and invites others to join in this primordial play.
